If you live in Arizona, you may be more familiar with our work than you know: Cactus has chip sealed more miles of Arizona roads than any other company.

Chip Sealing is the process of applying liquid asphalt followed by crushed aggregate. Then, pneumatic rollers embed the aggregate into the fresh liquid asphalt. At Cactus, our chip seal process will offer excellent results whether you have a maintenance project or new construction. That’s because Cactus uses advanced asphalt formulas containing rubber and polymers for long-lasting results.  In addition, we offer a range of services specially formulated to meet different requirements.

Types of Chip Sealing:

Single Chip Sealing Double Chip Sealing

Types of Liquid Asphalt:

Hot Asphalt
We call it AC15-5TR. If you don’t recognize the name, you might recognize one of the ingredients: tire rubber. Combined with polymers, this asphalt protects pavement from reflective cracking. Also, it has the ability to expand and contract — again, providing great protection from cracks.

Paving a lot of dirt? Emulsions are a less expensive way to cover a large area. Cactus has emulsions with or without polymers to provide the finish you need.
